Meet The Governors

Green Meadow Primary School Governing Body





Mrs Judith Dickens - CHAIR  (previously LA Governor)

I am the Chair of Governors and I also sit on the Finance Committee. I enjoy music, reading and shopping with friends.





Mr Brian Hardeman -  (VICE CHAIR) Community       

I was initially a parent governor when my two sons were here, and subsequently a co-opted community governor. During my time I have served as Chair and am currently Vice- Chair and Chair of the Health, Safety & Premises Committee. I live locally and am a Cub Scout leader at St. Davids’.




Mrs Glenis Egan - Community

I enjoy spending quality time with my family and watching Birmingham City Football Club.





Mr Graham Frost - Community              

A member of the Finance Committee and parent of four past pupils. An accounting professional that has always lived around Green Meadow. Enjoys walking and many sports.


Mr Neil Scott - Community

Following a number of teaching and leadership posts I work in the Institute of Education, University of Wolverhampton leading Education Central. Working with schools across the West Midlands and being the father of two young boys gives me a broad view of education today.

Mrs Jasmine Armstrong - Parent                  

I am a parent governor on the Personnel Committee. During my spare time I enjoy walks in our local parks and movies.


Mrs Fran Varley - Parent

I am a recently elected parent governor on the Curriculum, Standards & Pastoral Committee. Outside of school I enjoy running,

family camping trips & being involved in the life of our church.





Mr Reuben Evans - Parent             

I am a new parent governor on the Finance Committee. My spare time sees me playing badminton,

movie watching and helping my two boys master all things Minecraft!

Miss Helen Setchell - Head Teacher

As Headteacher of Green Meadow ensuring that we have strong Governance is an important part of my role. Away from school I enjoy baking, shopping and seeing friends and family.





Mrs Susan Hammond - Strategic Business Manager     

I am a staff governor on the Finance, Personnel, Premises, Health and Safety committees. In my spare time I spend time with my small grandchildren and going on holidays.




Mrs Kate Cross - Assistant Headteacher

I am a staff governor on the Standards, Curriculum and Pastoral Committee. I love to cook in my spare time and I am a Brownie Leader.





Mr Steven Rose - Site Manager            

I am a staff governor, and sit on the Premises/Health & Safety Committee. I am the school Site Manager and have the bonus of being the grandparent of a pupil. I am very involved with the wonderful 'Friends of Green Meadow', helping to raise money for the school, this includes being a “Quiz     Master”. I love being the Grandfather of three, and love my job.
