Graduated Response Points

All pupils at Green Meadow are assessed regularly at pupil progress meetings and through ongoing class teacher assessment. All pupils have access to ‘closing the gap’ groups and catch up sessions with their class teacher and TA to support them to reach their termly targets. Our classrooms are set up with a ‘dyslexia friendly’ and ‘au7sm friendly’ approach and all classrooms have the Soundfield system fiDed, to support pupils hearing.

During pupil progress meetings the assessment lead, SENCO, phase teaching and learning lead and class teacher discuss individual pupil’s progress and learning style. Some7mes at this point we recognise that some individual pupils or groups of pupils may need addi7onal support in their learning. At Green Meadow we follow a graduated response in line with the SEN Code of Practice (see below). Parents are invited to reviews at least once per term (this is a ‘point in time’ assessment, but changes to the plan in response to a pupil’s needs will happen more regularly and parents will be informed).
