Year 2 have been using their adventurous outdoor skills to orienteer their way around the school campus. We have been learning how to set and thumb our map and follow a string course, racing against other teams! It was a wonderful workout for our brains and bodies.
Year 5 are learning all about ‘keeping healthy’ in Science this half term. One of the areas we are studying is micro-organisms. We decided to investigate how conditions affect the rate of food decay by wiping slices of bread in different places and leaving them to go mouldy!
To Venn or not to Venn….?? In Year 1 we have been sorting different objects into a Venn diagram using our own ideas.
