Year 3 had a wonderful time learning about plants and seed growth at the Botanical Gardens. They have already applied some of their learning by planting some sun flower and broad been seeds in school.
Year 3 worked hard on their practical maths skills – reading scales to weigh out ingredients for their cooking. We made chocolate rice crispie cakes with Miss Evans!
Y3 have had a fantastic time during outdoor learning today. We were able to practise archery and build up our confidence on the climbing frame!
Year 3 had a fantastic morning visiting the Mandir (Shri Venkateswara – Balaji) to learn all about the Hindu religion. Year 3 had a lovely time making Mother’s Day cards for their wonderful mothers.
We had a lovely time at Avoncroft Museum. We participated in a wattle & daub workshop, each made our own brick and climbed a real life windmill. Throughout the day, we strolled around the grounds visiting a number of workshops and historical buildings. Take a look at our photos.
