Outdoor Learning Autumn Term 2015
We have a big friendly spider in our school grounds that is proving to be very popular with the children and is encouraging outdoor play and learning. The spider is made of living willow and as well as looking beautiful, it offers lots of opportunities for enriched curriculum activities and outdoor learning.
The spider was created as part of a literacy project in school where our year 2 children created a book inspired by our outdoor learning space.
Reception Outdoor Learning
Reception had a party for Percy from the story ‘Owl Babies’ in our woodland area. We ate mice just like owls… but ours were chocolate!
