In Reception we have been learning to follow the beat to Disney songs. We have been acting out the actions of the characters. It was lots of fun.
In year 1 we went on a nature walk to find natural materials to use in our art work. We looked at how natural materials can be used to create different sculptures just like the spider in our outdoor learning area.
Year 6 are composing music that could be used in a James Bond film. We listened to some of the original soundtracks and are now using the instruments to create our own pieces in the same style.
During our Tudor workshop Year 4 had the opportunity to play some musical instruments. Pictured is Hongyang playing the guitar. He is accompanied by the workshop leader who is playing a traditional Tudor drum.
Year 5 learnt how to make a fire as part of their outdoor learning. They discovered the ingredients to make a fire in the fire triangle: air, fuel and a spark.
