On Thursday 19th January, Reception F had their first ever inspire workshop.
The activities were focussed on fine motor skill development, through cutting out phonics jigsaws, then re-arranging the pieces to play a matching game. Number recognition and quantifying; we used a range of bits and bobs to count out the amount the number asked for. Junk modelling; developing imaginative and creative play. Non-fiction book writing; the children used a range of non-fiction books to inspire them towards a topic they would like to write about.
The children thoroughly enjoyed working alongside their grown ups and sharing what they have learnt so far in Reception.
Again, many thanks to all who attended, it was a very successful and enjoyable workshop.
We are looking forward to the next one.
