It is with great pleasure that I can share the good news that Green Meadow Primary School will operate as a Stand Alone Academy from January 1st 2015. As you are aware normal school procedures and practice will remain the same. Thank you for your support at this exciting new phase of our school development.
Y5 had a fantastic day last Friday working with Matt Windall, a professional poet. We listened as he performed his own poems – they were fantastic! We then had the opportunity to compose our own poems entitled – ‘It’s good to be me!’. We filmed our performances – here they are! Y5 Poetry Video
Last week Year 5 had a fantastic day learning all about Islamic Art. We used compasses and rulers to make geometric patterns which we then coloured.
